The EPA is canceling almost 800 environmental justice grants.

A total of 781 are being canceled, with 377 already canceled.

The Hill reported:

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is canceling nearly 800 grants, most of which have to do with environmental justice, according to a court document.

In a filing that was entered last week but first reported by The Washington Post Tuesday, a high-ranking EPA employee states that the agency has already told 377 grantees that their awards were canceled.

The agency plans to send cancellation notifications to an additional 404 — meaning a total of 781 grants are being canceled, said the filing, a declaration from Daniel Coogan, the EPA’s Deputy Assistant Administrator for Infrastructure and Extramural Resources.

A report from a Republican-led committee last year stated, “As part of its radical rush-to-green agenda, the [Biden] administration gave hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to activists who also engage in political activities.”

The cancellations appear to primarily impact environmental justice programs, such as programs that monitor pollution. But one program seeks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the production of construction materials.

The filing comes as the Trump administration targets environmental justice issues more broadly, including by firing 280 EPA staffers and reassigning 175 other employees that were assigned to the topic.

Environmental justice is actually quite controversial. Last year the Republican-led House Energy and Commerce Committee released a staff report that laid out allegations about the grants:

“As part of its radical rush-to-green agenda, the [Biden] administration gave hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to activists who also engage in political activities,” lawmakers behind the report said in a joint statement. “It was empowered to do so by congressional Democrats who jammed through legislation that was designed to rush money out the door as quickly as possible with no guards against waste, fraud, and abuse.”

A new study found that the evening newscasts on ABC, NBC and CBS had 92% negative coverage of Donald Trump during his first 100 days.

During Joe Biden’s first 100 days, it was 59% positive.

Evening newscasts on ABC, NBC and CBS have slapped President Donald Trump with 92% negative coverage as the 100th day of his second term approaches, according to the Media Research Center (MRC).

“Just 100 days into President Donald Trump’s second term, the broadcast evening news landscape is even more lopsided than it was eight years ago, when Trump was besieged with relentlessly hostile coverage,” researcher Rich Noyes wrote.

The study revealed a stark contrast to coverage of former President Joe Biden’s first 100 days in office, which was 59% positive, according to the MRC.

“Yet despite the overwhelming negativity of their coverage, the networks found Trump irresistible as a news subject, at least compared with Biden. From January 20 through April 9, 2017, the networks saturated their newscasts with 1,900 minutes of Trump news; during the same time period this year, we tallied a massive 1,716 minutes of coverage. But in 2021, evening news viewers saw only 726 minutes of Biden coverage during these same weeks, less than half of the airtime devoted to either of the new Trump administrations,” Noyes wrote.

Richard Baris, Big Data Poll Director, blasted the recent Trump approval polls.

Baris said, “We saw a slew of polling before the election, including pollsters that came out over the weekend with the 100-day narrative, and they were all wrong.”

Baris said some pollsters were wrong during the 2024 election and are wrong now with how they are doing their polling. He specifically said he was concerned polling samples were under measuring Trump supporters.

Despite the attacks, Donald Trump is keeping his promises to the American people.

In just 100 days, Donald Trump’s administration has gotten over $5 trillion in domestic and foreign investments.

The private sector has already invested over $1.8 trillion.

In 2024, Biden revealed he had received around $1 trillion in private sector investment during his entire presidency.

On his way out of the White House in November 2024, Joe Biden indicated his administration had obtained around $1 trillion in private-sector investments, according to a White House press release.

The White House released a list of some of Trump’s major economic wins for the American people already.

Real average hourly earnings for middle- and low-income workers are up 0.4% and up 1% for workers in the manufacturing sector since President Trump took office.
The automotive sector is growing: under President Trump, we already had the biggest one-month increase in auto sales in March in more than a year.

Mortgage rates have declined roughly four-tenths of a percentage point since President Trump took office.

Assuming the most recent median home price in the U.S., a new homebuyer making a 20% down payment on a 30-year mortgage would save roughly $32,400 over the course of the loan, or about $1,080 per year.

Industrial production was at the seventh-highest monthly level ever recorded in March. The only higher monthly levels occurred during the first Trump Administration in 2018 and in February of this year.

Since the beginning of the Trump Administration, at least $5 trillion in new investment in the U.S. has been pledged from both foreign governments and private companies.

While the annual revenue generated by cancer drugs increased by 70% from 2010 to 2019, the revenue from non-cancer drugs decreased by 18%. In 2010, 14% of total revenue from these ten companies was from cancer drugs; in 2019, cancer drugs made up one quarter of revenue.

Even worse, there is little correlation between the amount of money charged for these drugs and treatments and health outcomes:

If we were getting vastly improved clinical outcomes for these expensive drugs, they might be worth the price. But in the US, the cost of cancer drugs is not correlated with clinical benefit, according to a study in The Lancet Oncology. And once the price of a drug goes above $100,000, it doesn’t matter how good the drug is — when people can’t afford it, they won’t take it.

Canadians began voting on Monday for a new government to confront annexation threats from the United States and deal directly with President Donald Trump, whose trade war has defined the campaign.

The White House called the meeting “very productive.”

The White House described the 15-minute meeting as “very productive” and Zelensky later called it “very symbolic” with the “potential to become historic”.

Trump and Zelensky were pictured sitting locked in deep discussion, minutes before Pope Francis’ funeral was due to start.

Zelensky called it a “good meeting.”

Zelensky thanked Trump for the “good meeting” in a post on social media.

“We discussed a lot one on one. Hoping for results on everything we covered,” Zelensky wrote. “Protecting lives of our people. Full and unconditional ceasefire. Reliable and lasting peace that will prevent another war from breaking out. Very symbolic meeting that has potential to become historic, if we achieve joint results.”

Fox News’ final poll before the election showed Kamala Harris with a lead in both Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Fox News’ polls have been off before when it comes to Trump.

In its final pre-election poll on Oct. 30, Fox News showed Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of Trump by two percentage points in both Michigan and Pennsylvania a week before voters went to the polls. Trump won both states in November.

Also in October, Trump hit “weak and soft” Fox News Channel over the network’s planned interview with Harris.
