Donald Trump expects to speak to Russian President Vladimir Putin about a ceasefire deal this week.

Trump said, “Very importantly, and I said it, Ukraine: ceasefire…, just agreed to a little while ago. Now we have to go to Russia, and hopefully, President Putin will agree to that also, and we can get this show on the road.”

President Donald Trump said he expects to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin this week now that Ukraine has accepted a potential ceasefire deal negotiated by the United States, which is contingent on Russia also agreeing to it.

Ukraine has agreed to it, and hopefully, Russia will agree to it,” Trump said. “We’re going to meet with them later on today and tomorrow, and hopefully, we’ll be able to wipe out a deal.”

There has been a wave of attacks on Tesla over Elon’s support for Donald Trump and work with DOGE.

CNN reported:

Police across the United States are investigating a series of attacks on Tesla showrooms, charging stations and Tesla vehicles, as vitriol escalates against CEO Elon Musk.

There have also been peaceful protests at many Tesla locations, which involve demonstrators carrying signs and chanting “Elon Musk has got to go” in response to the slashing of federal jobs and budgets by Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency.

Though the protests have been peaceful, there have also been widespread reports of vandalism. While there have been no reports of injuries, the incidents pose a potential financial problem for Tesla. The company faces declining sales for the first time due to increased competition and backlash over Musk’s contentious role in the Trump administration.

The Democrats have Musk derangement syndrome.

Wholesale prices remained flat in February. The prices were expected to rise 0.3%.

CNBC reported:

Wholesale prices were flat in February providing some more welcome news on inflation amid tariff fears, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Thursday.

The producer price index, considered a leading indicator for pipeline inflation pressures, showed no gain for the month after jumping an upwardly revised 0.6% in January, seasonally adjusted figures showed. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had been looking for a 0.3% increase.

Excluding food and energy, core PPI decreased 0.1%, also against an estimate for a 0.3% rise and the first negative reading since July. Core prices excluding trade services showed a gain of 0.2%, also below a 0.3% estimate.

Wholesale goods prices rose o.3%, largely driven by the increase in egg prices.

CNN reported:

Wholesale goods prices rose 0.3% for the month, an increase that was fueled largely by sharp inflation in eggs but offset by falling energy prices. Egg inflation is slowing on the wholesale level, but prices remain significantly higher than last year as a deadly avian flu has devastated flocks and impacted supply.

The eggs for fresh use index rose 28.1% on a monthly basis, slowing from 44% in January. On an annual basis, the category is up 136.6%.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents in New England executed a joint operation on Nantucket, Massachusetts, to arrest “illegal criminal aliens” on Tuesday.

In a post on X, the DEA New England division said its agents assisted ICE and ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston with the arrests on the idyllic and posh summer vacation destination island situated 30 miles south of Cape Cod.

The Nantucket Current reported that the DEA confirmed it had arrested a man previously charged with kidnapping and domestic assault and battery, as well as a woman.

Border crossings have dropped significantly since Trump took office.

One reason is that the Trump administration ended the CBP One program that allowed migrants to book asylum appointments via a phone app while waiting at the border. The House is going to vote on the bill on March 11th.

The House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on March 11 on whether to approve a bill that would fund the U.S. government for the remainder of the current fiscal year and avoid a shutdown.

Currently, funding for the government is set to expire on March 14. The bill, known as a continuing resolution, would extend funding at the previous fiscal year’s levels, until the last day of the current fiscal year on Sept. 30.

Congress has used continuing resolutions every year to avoid a government shutdown, as it is unable to pass permanent funding, or appropriations, bills for the fiscal year before it begins. However, such appropriations bills are usually passed by March.

As Elon Musk attempts to drastically cut the federal workforce and delves further into the corridors of American power, the tech mogul’s electric-car maker Tesla has come under fire — literally.

There have been at least 10 acts of vandalism against Tesla vehicles, dealerships or charging stations in recent weeks, according to police and local reports, underscoring the backlash Musk has faced since taking on an unprecedented role in the federal government.

Twitter was also hit with a cyberattack on Monday.

Elon Musk said they traced the attacks from, “IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area.” They are still not sure exactly what happened.

Earlier in the morning at 5:43 a.m., thousands of users reported similar issues with X, peaking with as many as 22,766 complaints just before 6 a.m., though issues appeared to be resolved about an hour later.

Around 1:30 p.m., Musk said in a post on the platform that X was facing “a massive cyberattack” that was “done with a lot of resources,” adding: “Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved.”

In an appearance on Fox Business Network later in the afternoon, Musk told Larry Kudlow they “still aren’t sure exactly what happened,” but they had traced it to “IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area.”

The group is known for its sophisticated cyber warfare attacks and successful hacks of high-security systems.

According to Orange Cyberdefense, the group was formed in 2023 and has a pro-Palestinian focus.

Last month, the group vowed in a post to unleash a wave of cyberattacks on the government websites of NATO countries, Israel, and nations supporting Israel.

Elon Musk’s companies have been targeted across the globe.

Former Democrat Senator John Tester blamed Kamala Harris for losing his Senate seat in 2024. 

Tester said, “the top of the ticket did not perform because I don’t think the top of the ticket embraced the issues that Americans were talking about.”

Tester also added, “And the truth is the top of the ticket has to at least be competitive if you’re gonna win in a red state or even a purple state.”

Sheehy, a former U.S. Navy SEAL, closely aligned his campaign with Donald Trump and leading conservatives while painting Tester as a corrupt Washington insider. The Republican also promised to address the southern border crisis and curb government regulation.

His victory cements Republican dominance in Montana, where the party now controls every statewide political office. It also reflects a broader shift toward the GOP that has swept much of the American heartland over the past two decades.

Tester — a moderate and the chamber’s only working farmer — was the last member of his party to hold statewide office in Montana and the last Democratic senator from the five-state Northern Plains region. When he first entered office in 2006, Democrats held six of the region’s 10 Senate seats.
